Dr. Parekh at the clinic, Shastri Hall · Tardeo

Dr. Chandresh Parekh is one of India’s foremost squint specialists and ophthalmologists, with nearly 40 years of experience. He started his private practice in 1987 after graduating from K.E.M Hospital, and was among the first few doctors in the country to specialise exclusively in squint.

His youngest surgical patient was 6 months old. His eldest, 80. Over the years, he has treated patients from every background and age group — at his private practice and as a consulting ophthalmologist at Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai.

He deeply values the trust his patients place in him and has never once taken it for granted. Which is why, even after nearly four decades of practice, he continues to personally consult every patient himself — from start to finish. No assistants, no hand-offs. Every patient gets his full attention and the time they genuinely need.

Away from the clinic, Dr. Parekh enjoys a good game of badminton, is a phenomenal father, and an absolutely adored grandparent. He’s rarely without music — his patients would know.

Why Choose Us?

We Know What's At Stake When You're Choosing A Doctor

We know what’s at stake when you’re choosing a doctor — especially when it comes to your vision. And that when you do, you’re placing a lot of trust in them. It’s exactly what Dr. Parekh has been earning, one patient at a time, for the past 38 years.

Few doctors in India have spent as long treating squint exclusively as Dr. Parekh has. That depth of focus brings a level of familiarity with the condition that’s rare. One commitment has remained through all of it: honest advice, personally delivered to every patient.
